New Council Takes Office

Hong Kong Arts Development Council (HKADC) welcomes the announcement of the new Council membership by the Culture, Sports and Tourism Bureau today (6 January) and looks forward to a new chapter of the development under the leadership of the newly appointed Chairman Hon Kenneth Fok Kai-kong.

Since joining HKADC as a member in 2020, Hon Kenneth Fok has actively involved in various aspects of the work of HKADC and contributed valuable ideas to address the needs and development of the arts and cultural sector.

Following the official appointment, HKADC will soon call for its first Council meeting to formulate plans for future development. Under the leadership of the new Council, HKADC will continue to strive for the betterment of the arts development in Hong Kong. The new Council term will be from 1 January 2023 to 31 December 2025 (full list of the Council as per attached).

Special thanks are extended to former Council members, and in particular to the Chairman Dr Wilfred Wong Ying-wai for his great leadership over the past 12 years and his dedication to the development of arts and culture in Hong Kong which has led HKADC to gain a foothold in the international arts arena.
