Arts Advisors

Engaged on a voluntary basis, arts advisors assist chairmen of various artform groups to plan, execute and advocate for services that meet the needs of their respective arts sectors, as well as providing professional advice and support to the work of HKADC. Advisors are nominated by respective artform Chairman and the nomination list will be reviewed and commented by members of artform groups before passing to the Council for final review and endorsement. 

During the term of service, a nominee can only serve in one category: literary arts, music, visual arts, film & media arts, dance, xiqu, drama, arts administration, arts education and arts criticism.

The term of service for arts advisors is three years. Nominated list will be passed to the Council for review and consideration of re-appointment.
