With the support of the Government, the Hong Kong Arts Development Council (“HKADC”) is responsible to manage an arts space in Tai Po – Tai Po Arts Centre (TPAC). A team headed by the General Manager has been set up to run TPAC. HKADC is now looking for a Venue Officer to join the team.
|•||To support the General Manager in the management of TPAC|
|•||To facilitate the operation by enforcing house rules and hiring policies, liaising with hirers on booking support and technical matters, providing and coordinating technical services during booking of hiring facilities etc.|
|•||To assist in the procurement of goods and services|
|•||To maintain inventory record of furniture and equipment and to handle lending of such items to hirers|
|•||To be duty officer during booking of hiring facilities|
|•||Diploma or above, preferably in technical arts, theatre production, electrical engineering or other related disciplines|
|•||Minimum two years’ working experience in related field with solid experience in theatre/gallery productions and operations|
|•||Good command of English and Chinese; and|
|•||Shift duty, irregular working hours and working on weekends and/or public holidays will be required|
Successful candidate will be offered a 2-year contract. Salary offered will commensurate with qualifications and experience.
