The 16th Hong Kong Arts Development Awards Call for Nomination Now

Organised by the Hong Kong Arts Development Council (HKADC), the 16th Hong Kong Arts Development Awards is now open for nominations. Individuals/artist collectives/groups/schools/organisations are welcome to participate in competing for various prestigious awards.

The Hong Kong Arts Development Awards has kept abreast of times by undertaking preview and adjustments as appropriate. Starting from this edition, the “Artist of the Year” and “Award for Young Artist” continue to accept individual nominees and would accept group nominees of close collaboration; the “Award for Arts Promotion” is expanded to become “Award for Arts Promotion and Education” to facilitate participation of a considerable number of projects that amalgamate arts education and arts promotion while not leaving aside pure arts education and arts promotion projects. Besides, the newly launched online nomination system allows e-submission of nominations which is more convenient and environmentally friendly.

The Hong Kong Arts Development Awards is an annual flagship event in the local arts circle. It aims to give recognition to distinguished arts practitioners, groups and organisations that have made significant contributions to the arts development in Hong Kong.
