Over the years, numerous materials from both on-stage and backstage of performing arts in Hong Kong have been accumulated in various recording and preservation formats, reflecting the multifaceted art ecology. Tying in with the inaugural Hong Kong Performing Arts Expo (HKPAX), organised by the Hong Kong Arts Development Council, the Arts Information Centre displays a collection of books and archival information on performing arts, and invites visitors to explore Hong Kong’s performing arts through theatre photography, images, books and featured articles. Visitors may also take part in an interactive game for a chance to receive a souvenir while learning fun facts about performing arts. |
