Arts Information Centre

The Arts Information Centre (AIC) serves as a platform for arts practitioners, academics researchers, and the general public to access materials related to the arts development in Hong Kong and the activities funded, supported or organised by the Hong Kong Arts Development Council. AIC will collaborate with other local archives, libraries and information centres to provide referral services in the long run.

AIC Online Catalogue is now available for browsing. Our collections are kept at AIC and not for loan. AIC welcomes groups and individuals to visit and access our collections on-site during opening hours.

Arts Events Databank
The Databank has compiled records of arts events and exhibitions from the “Arts Yearbook” projects, as well as the statistics from the “Hong Kong Annual Arts Surveys”. It has also included feature articles from the “Year Overview in Arts” projects.

The Databank aims to provide a convenient way for the public to search for information on Dance, Theatre, Xiqu and Music performances, and on Visual Arts exhibitions held in Hong Kong over the years; and to illustrate the major happenings and phenomena in the respective years, in order to understand the developments and achievements of local arts from multiple angles.
Oral History and Archives Project
Interviews of selected veteran arts practitioners are filmed. Relevant materials and physical objects provided by the interviewers are gathered and organised collectively. The project serves to record the biographical and anecdotal information on video, and to preserve information that enriched the interview in a timely way.

Jobs in Arts & Culture
