Hong Kong Annual Arts Survey Report 2018/19

The Hong Kong Annual Arts Survey Report 2018/19 collected data on the performing arts programmes that were staged in 65 venues under 27 major performing facilities, visual arts exhibitions that were held in 236 venues, and film festivals and featured / individual screening of film arts events in 148 different venues between April 2018 and March 2019. It aims to provide comprehensive statistics and analyses such as the programme types and ticket price distribution, box office records, attendance and presenters to the arts sector. In 2018/19, data collection is further extended to the literary arts field, including the analyses of the literary and reading promotion activities from 173 presenters on activity types, and the distribution of presenters, book genres, languages and authors etc.
