CHAN Kuo
Mr CHAN's first independent film Made in Hong Kong won the Best
Film and Best Director awards in both the 17th Annual Hong Kong
Film Awards and the 34th Golden Horse Awards in Taiwan. The film
also received numerous international awards. In 2001 his Durian,
Durian was conferred multiple honours by the Hong Kong Golden Bauhinia
Awards, the Annual Hong Kong Film Awards, the Hong Kong Film Critics
Society and the Golden Horse Awards. His recent work Hollywood Hong
Kong received the NETPAC Award at the 4th Cinemanila Film Festival
in the Philippines. His other cinematic works include The Longest
Summer, Little Cheung and the first digital feature film Public
Toilet.
