ADC Artspace (Pan Asia Centre) Open for Leasing Application

The Hong Kong Arts Development Council (HKADC) is pleased to announce that ADC Artspace (Pan Asia Centre) is open for leasing application by local artists practising visual/media arts.

Recognising the demand for arts and cultural space from the arts community, HKADC has strived to identify suitable properties through different channels and to actively liaise with the landlords concerned so as to provide creative spaces at a concessionary rate for local artists and arts organisations. Since the implementation of the first arts space project in 2014, HKADC has so far launched five ADC Artspace projects and the scheme has been well received by the arts community.

Located in Kwun Tong District, ADC Artspace (Pan Asia Centre) was launched in 2018. This project would not have been made viable without the generous sponsorship of Sino Group to lease the space at concessionary rate to HKADC and the funding support of the Home Affairs Bureau on the operation costs. The current application provides five visual/media arts studios and the length of tenancy is two years and ten months, commencing from mid-November 2021. The monthly rental is HK$4.5 per sq. ft. and the existing management fee is HK$2.7 per sq. ft. Please refer to Annex for more details.

Interested visual or media artists can now obtain application guidelines and application form for ADC Artspace (Pan Asia Centre) from the HKADC Administration Office (10/F, 1063 King’s Road, Quarry Bay, Hong Kong) during office hours, or download these documents from HKADC’s website: www.hkadc.org.hk. Completed application (including application form, supplementary information and all supporting documents) must be deposited into the collection box located at the above address by 6:00pm on 23 December 2020 (Wednesday) the latest. Please mark “ADC Artspace (Pan Asia Centre) – Arts studio (Visual/Media Arts) Tenancy Application” on the envelope. Applications submitted by post will only be accepted if postmarked no later than the deadline. Submission by courier is also accepted but only if the pick-up date shown on the bill issued by the courier service provider is on or before the deadline. (II)　It provides five visual/media arts studios, which are:

• Unit 801 (Gross Floor Area of 541 sq. ft.)
• Unit 802 (Gross Floor Area of 778 sq. ft.)
• Unit 803 (Gross Floor Area of 829 sq. ft.)
• Unit 804 (Gross Floor Area of 671 sq. ft.)
• Unit 805 (Gross Floor Area of 849 sq. ft.)

(III)　Term: Two years and ten months (from 15 November 2021 to 14 September 2024 tentatively)

(IV)　Monthly Rent: HK$4.5 per sq. ft.

(V)　Monthly Management Fee: Currently HK$2.7 per sq. ft.
