Hong Kong Arts Development Council will co-organise the Hong Kong Book Fair 2001 with the Hong Kong Trade Development Council. It is expected that this annual event will promote art and culture status of Hong Kong.

The book fair will be held from July 18 to 23, 2001. Activities include Critics' Recommendation , Reading Write-up Competition, sharing session of Authors-in-Schools, New Books Introduction. Overseas authors are invited to join this function.

ADC will set up its booth in Hall One to introduce publications sponsored by ADC. In addition, Appreciation Zone is set up to provide opportunities to all participants to make direct communication with authors, giving the public a better understanding on the arts.
