The Hong Kong Arts Development Council (ADC) supports the early implementation of the West Kowloon Cultural District Project.

The ADC and local arts community are highly concerned with the development progress of the WKCD Project. Special attentions are paid on issues such as the WKCD Authority Bill and the project’s financial arrangement. We reiterate our support of one-off funding to ensure a smooth implementation of the project despite any political and economic influence. It is hoped that the new facilities will bring audience and the arts community new changes in both quality and quantity.

The ADC urges for early implementation of the project, with an aim to foster the development of arts and culture in Hong Kong.
