Organised by the Hong Kong Arts Development Council (ADC), the Hong Kong Arts Development Awards 2014 is now open for nominations. Individuals/groups/schools/organisations are welcome to participate in competing for various prestigious awards.
The Hong Kong Arts Development Council has been presenting large scale media arts exhibitions since 2006, and this year will see the fourth edition with the theme “Fleeting Light”. Light- and shadow-themed creations on various media will be spread across the city.

The Hong Kong Arts Development Council (ADC) and M+, Hong Kong’s future museum for 20th and 21st century visual culture in the West Kowloon Cultural District, announced today that Mr Tsang Kin-Wah has been selected as Hong Kong’s submission to participate in the 56th International Art Exhibition of the Venice Biennale from 9 May to 22 November 2015.
To foster the professional growth of local arts administrators and to facilitate the long-term development of arts and culture in Hong Kong, the Hong Kong Arts Development Council (ADC) joins hands with the world acclaimed Clore Leadership Programme in the UK and Museum of Contemporary Art Taipei (MOCA, Taipei) in Taiwan respectively to organise two overseas trainings programmes, namely the Hong Kong Scholarship on the Clore Leadership Programme 2014/15 and MOCA Taipei Internships 2014, for outstanding local arts administrators.
In 2013 Hong Kong Arts Development Council (ADC), which has commissioned Hong Kong’s participation since 2001, and West Kowloon Cultural District’s M+ museum co-organised, for the first time, the Hong Kong Exhibition at the 55th Venice Biennale with remarkable success. ADC is set to continue this collaboration by inviting M+ to curate the 56th Venice Art Biennale to be held in Venice, Italy in 2015.
