In order to help local artists in opening up overseas markets, establishing international network, and showcasing to the world outstanding Hong Kong artists and their works, the Hong Kong Arts Development Council (HKADC) supported Hong Kong music practitioners to attend Classical:NEXT with a pilot subsidy scheme in 2018. In view of the positive responses received, HKADC plans to attend Classical:NEXT again in Rotterdam, the Netherlands from 15 May to 18 May 2019 and now invites eligible Hong Kong music practitioners to apply for the captioned subsidy scheme.
