Hong Kong Arts Development Awards scheme aims to give formal recognition to accomplished arts practitioners, arts groups and organisations that have made significant contributions to the development of arts in Hong Kong. Among various award categories, the Award for Arts Education aims at recognising the outstanding achievement of schools, organisations and arts practitioners in promoting arts education.
This year, three schools namely Hong Kong Baptist University Affiliated School Wong Kam Fai Secondary and Primary School, Lam Tai Fai College and Po Chiu Catholic Secondary School demonstrated outstanding performance in arts education and were conferred the “Award for Arts Education” in recognition of their effort. We are pleased to invite representatives from these schools to share their valuable experience in designing and implementing arts education programmes in campus at the forthcoming sharing session. Mr Leung Sung-yum, Kevin, Chairman of the Award Assessment Panel and Ms Cheung Po-man, Rowena, member of the Award Assessment Panel (School Division) will also join the sharing session to share their thoughts.
