The Hong Kong Arts Development Council (HKADC) and West Kowloon Cultural District Authority (WKCDA) will jointly organise a delegation of Hong Kong dance professionals to participate in the “internationale tanzmesse nrw 2018” (Tanzmesse 2018) in Düsseldorf, Germany from 29 August to 1 September 2018. By attending the programme from Tanzmesse 2018 in a mix of a market, performances, open studio and forums, it is aiming that the Hong Kong dance artists can establish an international network; and also to assist them in exploring overseas performing opportunities and accumulate experience in overseas promotion. In order to benefit more dance artists and arts administrators to join the Tanzmesse 2018 as the Hong Kong delegation members, the HKADC hereby invites local dance artists and arts administrators to apply for the subsidy.
The HKADC will offer subsidies to a maximum of 15 dance artists and arts administrators for the participation in Tanzmesse 2018. The HKADC will provide a maximum of HK$ 23,000 as a subsidy to support each successful applicant’s expenses of a set of return flight tickets between Düsseldorf and Hong Kong, accommodation and travel insurance in Düsseldorf and production of promotional materials; the HKADC will also provide a Tanzmesse 2018 pass for each successful applicant for admitting to the exhibition hall and attending Tanzmesse events.
Interested parties are advised to refer the “Information on Application” and application form for the subsidy scheme. Both documents can now be obtained from the HKADC Administration Office or downloaded from this website.
