HKADC’s Continuous Effort in Promoting Hong Kong’s Arts in International Platforms – Participating in Classical:NEXT 2019

Riding on last year’s success of leading a delegation of Hong Kong musicians, composers and producers to attend Classical:NEXT held in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, the Hong Kong Arts Development Council (HKADC) has once again led 9 Hong Kong delegates to participate in Classical:NEXT 2019 during 15 to 18 May this year. The Hong Kong delegates actively participated in a wide range of events and exchanged ideas with international peers from 45 different countries at Classical:NEXT. One of the delegates Louis Siu, Artistic Director of Toolbox Percussion shared that one of the workshops he attended provided him with practical information on contract law and working visas application which helped him to handle the challenges faced by his ensemble during overseas touring. Another delegate, Sheeta Ng, Director of NSW Arts Company, shared that she gained inspiration on her future work direction from one of the music education related conference.
